This website is operated by CARROVI. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to CARROVI. By accessing this site, browsing the store, placing an order, or using any part of the service, you agree to the terms listed below.

CARROVI is an independent eyewear destination offering luxury sunglasses and optical frames from selected designers and independent makers. The store is operated by Svendsgård and powered by Shopify.

Access and eligibility

By using this site, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a purchase agreement in your jurisdiction. You agree not to use this site, its products, or its content for unlawful, unauthorized, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, restrict access, or limit purchases where misuse, suspected fraud, payment issues, stock errors, or breach of these terms is identified.

Products

CARROVI sources luxury sunglasses and optical frames from established suppliers, authorised distributors, and independent manufacturers. Product listings include brand, model, frame material, lens type, dimensions, aesthetic classification, origin, and other relevant details.

We aim to present product information and images as accurately as possible. However, minor variations may occur between product photos and the actual item due to lighting, screen settings, material batches, or supplier-provided imagery. Frame colours, particularly acetate patterns such as tortoise and havana, are handcrafted and may vary subtly between individual pieces.

Availability

Many frames carried by CARROVI are limited in quantity, discontinued, or difficult to source. Stock may change without notice and cannot be guaranteed until an order is confirmed and accepted.

If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, we will contact you and either cancel the order, issue a full refund, or offer an alternative where appropriate.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance. We may review orders for stock accuracy, payment verification, shipping eligibility, address issues, fraud prevention, or supplier availability.

We reserve the right to limit or cancel quantities purchased per customer, order, payment method, billing address, shipping address, or account. If we cancel or change an order, we will notify you using the contact information provided at checkout.

Pricing and payment

Prices are displayed in US Dollars. All prices for US customers include applicable duties and taxes (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid). You will not be charged additional fees on delivery. Prices may change without notice.

Payment is processed through Shopify and its supported payment providers. CARROVI does not store full payment card details.

Shipping and delivery

CARROVI currently ships to the United States. All orders include free tracked and insured shipping. Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, supplier handling, customs processing, or other circumstances outside our control.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information. CARROVI is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible addresses.

Returns

Return eligibility, timelines, and conditions are governed by our returns policy. Eyewear must be returned unworn, unmarked, and in original condition with all packaging, cases, cleaning cloths, certificates, and documentation included. Claims for damaged, missing, incorrect, or misdescribed items should be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photos and order details.

Prescription lenses

Optical frames are sold with demo lenses only. CARROVI does not fit, supply, or guarantee prescription lenses. Frames purchased for prescription use should be taken to a qualified optician for lens fitting. Frames that have been fitted with prescription lenses are not eligible for return.

Authenticity

CARROVI sources all eyewear through authorised supply channels. Verification may include supplier authentication, product inspection, packaging review, serial number checks, and condition assessment.

CARROVI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or authorised by any of the brands listed on this site. Brand names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the products offered for sale.

If any item purchased from CARROVI is found to be inauthentic, we will provide a full refund including all shipping costs. This guarantee has no time limit.

Site content and intellectual property

The CARROVI name, visual identity, product descriptions, photography, interface design, and original content are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit site content without written permission.

Third-party services

The site relies on third-party services including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, analytics tools, and email systems. Use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Errors and omissions

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, pricing mistakes, stock errors, or product information at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to cancel or amend orders affected by such errors.

Limitation of liability

CARROVI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site, delayed delivery, product unavailability, technical issues, third-party service disruption, or misuse of products, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the site or service if we believe these terms have been breached, fraud has occurred, or the service is being misused.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

We may update these terms when operational, legal, or technical requirements change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
